Weekly Populace Meeting

Forgotten Sea populace meetings are traditionally held every Wednesday evening, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. These meetings include fighter practice, as well as Curia and classes depending on the week.

Starting September 25th, we will be meeting indoors at North KC Crossfit 727 NE 76th St. Gladstone, Mo. 64118 .

These meetings are free and informal, anyone is welcome to come and hang out. You do not need to be a member to attend.  

Come and meet others who are interested in recreating Medieval European culture!

Fighter Practice

Starts at 6:30pm at the weekly populace meeting.  Please arrive early to help set up the combat area.  We would be thrilled to have you participate in Armored Combat, Swordplay, or both.  Loaner armor and weapons are available for both as well as combat lessons.

IF YOU ARE A NEW FIGHTER, please contact the marshal 24 hours in advance so we may gather appropriate loaner armor for you! NOTE: You must bring your own knee pads and groin protection.

Starts at 7:00pm on the on the second Wednesday of the month.  Curia is our monthly business meeting. Anyone is welcome to attend, but all Baronial officers are expected to attend and give a report. Since this is also where upcoming events and activities are discussed and approved, the attendance of the populace is highly encouraged.

Archery Practice (Discontinued for Winter)

Archery Practice is every 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month.


On the 2nd Monday we meet at 6 PM at the James A Reed Archery Range in Greenwood MO off of Main and Smart Rd

On the 4th Monday we meet at 6 PM at the Prairie Archery Range in Olathe off of 135th and Moonlight Rd.

Heraldry Work Night

Work night for the Roll of Arms project, where we create individual pennants for the devices of BFS populace.  All are welcome.  there is plenty of space to bring other projects to work on, not just heraldry.
