New to the SCA? Interested in having a guide to help you discover what it's all about and find your niche? Join the Mentorship Program. We are excited to provide this opportunity for new players and to connect with established players.

Help welcome people to our barony and the SCA by volunteering to become a mentor today!

Weekly Populace Meeting

Forgotten Sea populace meetings are traditionally held every Wednesday evening, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. These meetings include fighter practice, as well as Curia and classes depending on the week.

We are currently back outside to the north end of Antioch Park.

These meetings are free and informal, anyone is welcome to come and hang out. You do not need to be a member to attend. You do need to bring proof of vaccination and adhere to the current covid protocols for in person meetings.

Come and meet others who are interested in recreating Medieval European culture!

Fighter Practice

Starts at 6:30pm at the weekly populace meeting. Please arrive early to help set up the combat area.

IF YOU ARE A NEW FIGHTER, please contact the marshal 24 hours in advance so we may gather appropriate loaner armor for you! NOTE: You must bring your own knee pads and groin protection.

Starts at 7:00pm on the on the second Wednesday of the month. Curia is our monthly business meeting. Anyone is welcome to attend, but all Baronial officers are expected to attend and give a report. Since this is also where upcoming events and activities are discussed and approved, the attendance of the populace is highly encouraged.

Archery Practice

Practices will be from 1pm to 3pm (weather permitting) at the Prairie Center Archery Range.

We will NOT be holding practice on the Sundays of Unslung Heroes, Valor, or Lilies. We will NOT be holding practice on the Sunday following Kings Companie of Archers, Sunday July 3rd, or Sunday September 4th. The last practice of the year will be Sunday September 25th.

Heraldry Work Night

Work night for the Roll of Arms project, where we create individual pennants for the devices of BFS populace. All are welcome. there is plenty of space to bring other projects to work on, not just heraldry.
