Inkle Weaving 101

This class included a demonstration of how to use and warp an inkle loom, how to make and use string heddles, how to start and finish a weave, how to do a plain weave, and how to read one style of pattern. The class was run as a hands-on workshop with an opportunity for people to try weaving on a warped loom and to get help warping their own loom.

Since this course is largely hands on there is not a lot of content in the handout to explain what is happening.
