At Winter War Maneuvers court, Kamiizumi Hirotaro received the Commanders' Commendation for his efforts on the day. Congratulations!

Horse & Falcon event steward will be chosen before the end of January. If you are interested in being that steward, a co-steward, or in charge of some aspect of the event, please contact the Baronage at baronage@bfs-kc.org for more information.

We are in the final 2 weeks of mail-in pre-registration for Gulf Wars. On-line registration cutoff date is February 18, 2015. Pre-registration saves you a few bucks, saves time at gate when you arrive, and gives Calontir more leverage in the camping space allotment.

Lady Cecilia de Gatisbury, Arts and Sciences Minister of Forgotten Sea, is organizing some activities in the coming weeks to help people prepare for Gulf Wars.  The tentative schedule is:

  • Feb. 4th- Preparing for Gulf Wars -- Garb
  • Feb. 11th –Preparing for Gulf Wars – Camping
  • Feb. 18th- Preparing for Gulf Wars – Ready for the fun (fighting, shopping, water-bearing, archery, equestrian, parties, arts and sciences, etc)

These will be a combination round table/project nights. Lady Cecilia is seeking suggestions/input/people to help lead the roundtables/etc. While she is interested in input from all people, she especially needs input from fighters and equestrians. If you are interested in helping people who have never gone to Gulf Wars before, contact Lady Cecilia privately on Social Media or email at artsandsciences@bfs-kc.org
