  A message from Lord Aed Mac Cormaic ua Feidlimid, Baronial Seneschal - 

Please send commentary to Their Majesties on the candidates for the Forgotten Sea Baronage. They would like all commentary sent to Falcon-Crown at calontir.org by Oct. 7th. If you haven't already done so, please see the BFS Facebook Group. There is an excellent thread where the candidates have shared their thoughts on their candidacies.

The Barony has a very full calendar of events this fall and winter, starting with Crown Tournament on Columbus Day weekend. Many hands make light work, so please volunteer to help out in some way.


   
    Deputy Officers -  
We are looking for a deputy Archer Marshal. If you have questions or would like to apply, please email the relevant office, baronage@bfs-kc..org and seneschal@bfs-kc.org.

    Calendar Updates - 
More classes,and upcoming Forgotten Sea hosted events have been added to the Baronial Calendar.

Upcoming classes at fighter practice site (indoors):

  • Upcoming opportunities to paint for the Baronial Roll of Arms Project: Oct 16 & 30 at Fighter Practice.
  • 10/23 Rope Making 7:00 PM Want to make your gear more period by making your own ropes? Come learn how rope was made in period with Emmerick Jones.

Largess will soon be needed for Their Excellencies to present to Their Majesties at Crown Tournament. Please consider making or re-gifting something.

     Crown Tournament 
From His Excellency, Logan goðiCrown Tournament is here. If you can help out on any of the days, but you don't know what there is to do, please let any of the event stewards know, and we will find something for you to to. Some examples of some areas that could use help:
  • Gate - Always a good place to volunteer and meet people.
  • Sanitation - Making sure the porta-potties are properly supplied.
  • Water Bearing - Since this is an outdoor event, keeping our friends hydrated will be important.
  • Set Up & Tear Down - If you can help on the first or last day of the event, there is a special place for you in Valhalla.

Thank you all for your support and volunteerism.
