A hands-on lesson in Klosterstitch, a couching method used from 1300 onward. A brief history will be provided before we jump in. 10 kits will be available to purchase, which include small pieces of linen, prepared for embroidery, and a selection of wool floss and needles. Kits cost $10 (cash only please).  Please contact Lady Cecilia de Gatisbury at  artsandsciences@bfs-kc.org  by Monday the 14th if you will plan on purchasing a kit. If you plan on bringing your own materials, 48-count linen and plied wool (not too heavy) are best and you should be prepared to begin embroidering at the beginning of class. Class will begin at 7 pm at fighter practice.
