Mid-Week Announcements

Tor Practice:
Due to decreasing light, Tor's outdoor fighter practices at Waterfall Park on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays of the month are on hold for the winter.
Their indoor fighter practices concurrent with their business meetings, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays, will continue. They are at Walnut Gardens Community of Christ, 19201 E RD Mize Road, Independence, MO. Tomorrow is the 2nd Thursday, so there will be a meeting/fighter practice at that location tomorrow.

A Letter From Their Excellencies Forgotten Sea:
"Good Morning Forgotten Sea!

We will be holding a Baronial Court at Playing With Fire and, as such,
we need help from our populace:

First, we need award recommendations! Let us know who among your
friends is representing the barony well / is making really cool things
/ is always ready to lend a hand with a smile on their face / is
showing exceptional skill in the things they do / etc! You can submit
award recs here: http://www.bfs-kc.org/about/award-recommendation

Secondly, we need preprints painted. If you haven’t seen our Baronial
scrolls, they’re half-page sized and are only two or three colors. If
you would like to help with this, please contact us by email or on the
booke of faces. Thank you!

Yours In Service,
Søren and Rowan

Playing With Fire will be held at the Vertigo site near St. Joseph, MO, on September 30th. More information is available at https://sites.google.com/site/playingwithfireevent/

Ayisha plans to bring Baronial preprints to the BFS fighter practice the next two weeks; you can also grab some there. If you are painting an award that has a badge on the preprint, please use the same colors as shown at http://www.bfs-kc.org/about/baronial-awards.

Beginner's Class This Sunday:
It was inadvertently left out of this past Monday's announcements - the monthly Beginner's Class is this Sunday, September 17, at the Irene B. French Community Center, Merriam, KS, from 1-4pm. The topics will be constructing a geometric tunic, and persona.
