  • Their Royal Majesties need award recommendations. Each week for the next few weeks we will highlight different awards. This week: the Queen's Chalice. The Queen's Chalice is unique in that it is an award specifically for youth. Much like an AOA, it is given out to those who are involved, and serve beyond expectations. While adults attend events because they want to, their children often do not have as much choice in the matter. Some may sit back in camp with headphones on; others may run around with their friends. And some throw themselves into the game as much as their age allows them. Many are not yet allowed to fight, except youth combat, but they still help on retinue, serve feast, set up camp, or fetch and carry, as they are able. The Queen's Chalice is to recognize them, and encourage their continued participation. If you know of any children like that, submit award recommendations at http://awardrec.calontir.org/.
  • Officers and marshals - quarterly reports are due on the 15th.
