| Saturday |
| 10 am | Melees and pickups |
As there will be archery a'plenty to be had elsewhere on site,
it would be fun to have tournaments based on the weaponry of soldiers and
nobility of King Henry's army. As such, here's a list of the FIVE
tournaments we'll have on Sunday
| Sunday |
| 10 am | BFS Champion tournament |
| Sword and Shield tournament |
| Bastard Sword tournament |
| 1 pm | Lunch |
| 2 pm | Sword and Buckler tournament |
| 6' spear tournament |
| 6' polearm tournament |
Be sure to bring all of your toys!
There will be prizes for each tournament, an an overall prize for
the best overall warrior of the day.
On Saturday, we'll have melees, with NO WEAPONS OVER SIX FEET including:
Ransom tournament:
In war, it was much more profitable to take
nobles prisoner than to kill them. Each Team Captain may bring up
to four retainers with him/her. This will be a resurrection
battle, and when "killed" you will be immobilized until you are
captured and brought to a list by a foeman, where your ransom
will be arranged according to your rank. (This will be a point
system−no need to bring ransoms if you don't want to) Or you may
be rescued by a team mate and brought to a list to be "revived".
The team with the most loot at the end wins the tournament.
Chevauchee:
A Chevauchee was a tour of destruction by an invading
force meant to destroy an enemy nobleman's wealth by destroying
the villages and infrastructure in his demense. There will be a
"village" set up, where invaders will come in to burn and pillage
the place. The defenders must try to prevent this. Invaders will
get unlimited resurrections, and the battle will be timed. When
the entire village is set ablaze, we'll switch sides and do it
again.
Ford battle:
Henry's army was prevented from crossing the river
Somme at many fords by a staked bank defended by French soldiers
waiting on the other side. The English will have to force their
way across the ford to allow the rest of the army across.
Archery:
Run by Lord Gerald Kendall
| Saturday |
| Scenario 1 | Clout at the French Marshall (usual clout) |
| Scenario 2 | Pelt the advancing crossbowmen behind pavaises |
